CADImage.dll Registration Problems

Post by marcus » 01 Feb 2005, 20:51

Hello,

I recently purchased a single-user license for the CADImageDLL plug-in so that I could use it with My IrfanView application. My order was processed and I received the software key via email.

1. I copied CADImage.dll into my C:\Program Files\IrfanView\Plugins folder.
2. I started the CS_Manager, clicked the CADImage button, and entered my name email and the software key I received into the CADImage Registration Dialog window.
3. I clicked the Register button and was told to reload my application.

I’m not sure what application I’m supposed to reload. I started IrfanView and tried to open a .DWG file. But like before, I get a low resolution image of the cad file with a message overlayed that reads:

"CAD Image DLL – use CS_Plugins.exe for good resolution
Please register at http://www.cadsofttools.com"

What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,
All you made is right. Sometimes users have difficulties with registration - in this case we send reg file which stores registration information for this user and make the same as registration via CADSoftTools plugin manager. User should run (double-click or press 'enter' and then 'OK') to register the plugin. This is easy and it helps always. We care of each user. Thank you!

Evgeny,
I have the same problem as Marcus in the previous post, except with CS_DXF.dll. I have done exactly what he did, with the same results.
I have done what you said in your reply, but it does not help. Did it fix Marcus' problem?
Any other solutions?
TIA

Dear Sir,
we send the e-mail to you with registration instructions. If they wont help we will make special build for you without restrictions and with your Name info in DLL resources.
Please set key to CADSoftTools plugin manager without 'spaces' and 'Enters'.
Thank you for your understanding.
Dmitry

Similar issue. Downloaded CAD Image DLL for IrfanView. Read Readme. Copied CADImage.dll to C:...\plugins folder (with other dll's)
Rcvd e-mail, downloaded CADImagePlugin.zip, ran CS_manager to install.
Entered Key received in e-mail, Register, OK. Says to "reload application". Which: IrfanView or CS_Manager??
Note: had prior Trial versions, had deleted those from C:....\plugins prior to install using CS_Manager.

After 3 hours of hassles, I'd really like to view this drawing :)

It must be uncorrect registration with using CS_Manager.
1. Run CS_Manager.
2. Click the "CADImage" button and enter name, email and the software key that you received into the CADImage Registration Dialog window.
3. Press "Register" button.
4. Load or reload IrfanView.

Maybe I misunderstood the original e-mail registration instructions. It stated to click on the CAD Image button and I "mistakenly" interpreted that as the desired DXF or DWG (not the HPGL or....CAD Image :)

Still says to "reload application". Reload what application? CAD Image, CS_Manager, Irfanview?

Still only dislays the low res "please register"

Nevermind.....I had enter my name (the one I used to register) and it wanted the name in the e-mail. Doh!

When in a hurry and getting frustrated, it's easy to miss the "fine print"

Works now......
