Ungroup Blocks

I downloaded a trial of AB viewer because it opens HPGL files and saves them to PLT which is necessary for laser cutting work we do at our shop. Some of the HPG files we have put different elements in blocks, and I need to be able to ungroup these blocks and move the elements withing each block independently. As of right now I am unable to do that, and have searched the help files with no luck.

Is there anyway to ungroup a block? I've already tried the explode button but that doesn't seem to work.
