To my mind the tooltips for display (black/white; color; default, ...) should be improved, because there are some complex dependencies between all the volor settings ...

I mean that

"Custom Background and Black default entities"
should say
-> "Custom Background and Color default default entities, if not colored"

"Draw in black"
-> Draw monochrome in default color

Black Background and White default entities
-> "Black Background and Color default entities, if not colored"

That's only a quick hint, but I think you know what I mean.
