CS_SVG.DLL and wrong extensions

I have a file with (wrong) SVG-extension and a PNG-content. Some viewers can handle this problem, cs_svg.dll with XnView not - it display white nothing with the "demo version" text.

Any solutions?

CS_SVG.dll plugin will open file only if it have correct extension.

Yes, I know - and this is the problem. It should be more tolerable and watch the content of the file too.
