Standard View - always "Zoom extends, centered"

Is it correct that the standard-view when starting to display a DWG is always "Zoom extends"? Sometimes it is better to display the area which is stored by the creator of the DWG.

If it is true, this should be an user defined option: "How to display starting view: always zoomed / as stored in DWG"

Hello Peter.
No, this isn't correct. There is a flag "Open Active ViewPort" that specifies if drawing will be displayed with ViewPort stored in file. If this option is off then drawing will be displayed fitted to its extents.
