Hello
I installed the newest version of Cadview Freeware (8 of June; a lot of improvements

), but it seems that the software is not able to display HP-RTL files (HPGL with embedded raster data).
Is that right? Or is something wrong with my installation?

Hello Peter,
It must be the installation problems.
- run Total Commander;
- remove from Total Commander previous reference to CADView.wlx (Configuration->Options->Edit/View->Configure internal viewer->LS-Plugins->Remove);
- close Total Commander;
- run Total Commander again;
- add new reference to "newest version of Cadview Freeware" (Configuration->Options->Edit/View->Configure internal viewer->LS-Plugins->Add);
- close and rerun Total Commander.
Everything has to be Ok!!!
Sergey.

Sergey,
it was installed correctly, but I installed it again and it is the same: it shows dwg, dxf, HPGL, HPGL/2 - but it has problems with the RTL-data.
The raster-data is shown, but with wrong colors: my background of the whole view is white, but the raster data is displayed with black background (it should be transparent) and the raster data is displayed white. Changing the background colour does not solves the problem.
I will send you samples per e-mail.

Dear Peter,
Could you please send to us on
support@cadsofttools.com examples of your bugged HP-RTL files and screenshots of correct and uncorrect view of them. We need to examine them because with our files Cadview works perfect!

Hi,
We've got your file but it has too small size for being with a picture inside - 612 bytes. Furthermore it draws nothing so it seams it it is corrupted. We tryed to view it by other viewers but failed.

PLT file you've sent to us includes some undocumented commands. For example next command is repeated several times: Esc *1###O.
'1' and 'O' - letters
### - code of operation
At present we are searching for necessary documentation.

Hello
is it really fixed within the new version (August 5)?
Sometimes it works, sometimes it shows the RTL-Area with black background, and a HPGL2/HP-RTL Plot with only 488 kB shows the Windows error (translated from german): "Open error: not enough memory for this command", although the memory of my PC uses only 300 MB of 1.2 GB availabe.
